Sabrina Danielle Baranda (PT/USA) is a Filipino- American dancer, teacher and independent artist originally from the Bay Area, CA. Her background is in modern and contemporary dance, somatic embodiment, and Contact Improvisation. She studied dance at Oakland School for the Arts and earned her BA in dance from Columbia College Chicago. In 2016, she began traveling around the world in order to gain a deeper understanding of dance and movement on a global scale. It was during these travels that her movement training expanded beyond contemporary dance and focused more on Contact Improvisation and broader movement culture practices- floorwork, yoga, acroyoga, acrobatics, rock climbing, calisthenics, mobility and agility training. Since then, Sabrina has been living as a nomadic freelance artist studying and teaching in the USA, Germany, France, Portugal, Australia, Thailand, Mexico, and India
