Alexa is a passionate dancer and artist. Born in Romania 1985, graduated Art
University degree (2008) and discovered her love for dance first
through video and photography. The first encounter with Contact
Improvisation (CI) happened around 2014, which opened a new space and understanding of the body and movement. Alexa has since dived into CI more and more and met dance through different practices like Contemporary Dance, Ideokinesis, Axis Syllabus, Butoh, Authentic Movement and others. She is now attending the program FAIIC at Instável – Centro Coreográfico. Her new interest is in the collaboration of creative arts, integrating
painting and media art into her movement research and nature interactions.
