In a small hamlet, lives our community, we run a café, kindergarden, an outdoor event space, we have various tourist apartments, many animals and a lot of nature. For many years this place attracts people from several countries. Currently, 20 people from different social and cultural backgrounds live here. Some of them are employees who work on the farm, others are long-term tenants who work in other areas. The residents share values such as sustainability, diversity and responsibility for the environment. We live in close proximity, but everyone values their own privacy and individual lifestyle.
“We bought the 140 acres of land in the early 80´s. Over the years we planted around 80.000 trees to stop eroding the soils and to create a bio divers flora and fauna. Simultaneously we built the lakes, to retain water. The storage of water offered the farm a source of life: vegetable gardens and animals were introduced to establish the basic foundations of the farm as to provide the houses.”

Possible Sleeping Options
Own tent or campervan
Find a spot under one of the many trees on the site. The campsite has composting toilets, hot showers, an outdoor communal kitchen, chill-out areas and dance floors.
Belltent
Furnished round tent (incl. bedding) for two people in a beautiful spot under a tree. Compost toilet, hot shower, communal outdoor kitchen, chillouts and dance spaces.
Casa Miguel
Spacious apartment with a total of 5 beds on three interconnected open floors. On the pedestal below is a double bed (1.60x2m). There is an open kitchen with large worktop. Spacious bathroom. From the covered terrace you have a beautiful view of the garden.
Casa Nova
This apartment is directly connected to Casa Miguel. It has a separate bedroom with a double bed (two single mattresses 80x2m). Spacious living area with two more sleeping possibilities on a extendable sofa (1.40x2m) The kitchen is integrated. Medium sized bathroom with shower. Covered terrace with morning sun and overlooking the courtyard.
Casa Vicentina
Apartment with spacious living area and two sleeping possibilities on the loft bed.
The kitchen is integrated. Separate bedroom with double bed (1,40x2m) , two single beds in livingroom possible. Bathroom with shower. Outside area with small flower beds and overlooking the courtyard.
Casa Taipa
Small, cozy one-room apartment. Traditionally built with rammed earth, this apartment is located directly above our cowshed. Loft bed with two sleeping platforms (1.40x2m mattress) Kitchenette with four burner gas hob.
Separate small bathroom and generous shower. Wind-sheltered terrace overlooking our courtyards.
Arrival
The closest Airport to the venue is Faro Airport, 60 min distance by car. Lisbon is 3.5 hours away. We want to encourage you to think about using a train, bus or car sharing if you come from Europe. There are well organised economic connections from all bigger cities. Please keep in mind the most economic plane tickets have late arrivals in Faro Airport. So you need to book a night in a hostel there. Unfortunatly you can´t come a day earlier to the farm. From Faro airport you can take public transportation by bus and train/ about 25€, or a taxi /about 90€. Bus from Airport to train station Faro every 30 min/ 3€. Surrounding
We recommend to bring your car if you have one. We are about 15 min drive from the ocean. And only 7 min drive to little sweet village with ATM, Cafes, Shop, Postoffice.

There is WIFI Internet, but its slow! Use this days to live the new luxury of being UNPLUGGED and RELAXE completely.
Food
Our wonderfully international team of chefs prepare Mediterranean vegetarian dishes with love and taste. We buy organic food from local farmers as much as possible. Please contact us in advance if you have any food intolerances.
